Description

Grape Sugar is also known as Rectified Grape Must Concentrate or Deionized Grape Juice Concentrate. The rectification process removes all the elements except water, glucose and fructose. The result is a pure grape sugar, transparent in colour and neutral in taste, particularly suitable for sweetening. Grape Sugar is a great alternative to sucrose in the elaboration of healthy food products. In general a product sweetened with grape sugar only may claim “no added sugar” on the label although labelling requirements may vary by country

Grape Sugar is available at 65° brix. Higher Concentrations (68° or 70° brix) are available upon request. Grape Sugar with organic farming certification is also available.

Grape Sugar is a high-quality sweetener with several applications in the food industry, in particular for the preparation of soft drinks, fruit juices, confectionary products, jams and jellies, dairy products (i.e. yoghurt, ice creams), desserts, baked goods and candies. Grape Sugar is also used for the enrichment of musts and wine sweetening
